Regarding Power bi report server

Hi,

 

I want to install power bi report server in our organisation.We can get the power bi report server by purchasing

power bi premium or SQL Enterprise edition , right?

What are the exact differences between power bi premium and SQL Enterprise edition ( in terms of features and pricing) . Please help us to get the information .

Hi @AnilKumar, 

 

Power BI Report Server is available through two different licenses: Power BI Premium and SQL Server Enterprise Edition with Software Assurance. The same features are available for users when we apply these two licenses for Power BI report server. 

 

But If we purchase Power BI premium, we can use the Power BI service features which are in cloud as well. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-premium-faq
