I am currently developing PowerBI Reports for a client. Data Source are 2 Access Databases files placed in a SharePoint folder. Connection and refresh work fine from PowerBI Desktop. However, refresh from PowerBI Service fails likely because of Access .accde files having been created with a 32-bit version of Access Database. Refresh fail message is: Data source error: DataSource.NotFound: Microsoft Access: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. The 64-bit version of the Access Database Engine OLEDB provider may be required to read this type of file. To download the client software, visit the following site: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=285987.. . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: fact produccion. Cluster URI: WABI-NORTH-EUROPE-F-PRIMARY-redirect.analysis.windows.net Activity ID: 5600f576-5c75-4d28-9494-d8fff8fac41c Request ID: a84bfc6f-a1e8-5b41-970a-5682d5d02ca7 Time: 2022-05-17 12:52:06Z. If Access database files were located in a local machine, I guess this could be solved by installing aproppiate version of Access Database Engine OLEDB provider. However, since being placed in a Sharepoint online folder, no software can be installed. Any help on how to refresh this data into PowerBI Service would be great! Thank you!!
