RS Power BI Server September update: performance issues with filters

Having updated our Power BI RS Service with latest available September update (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-report-server-september-2019-feature-summary/#slic...), we started to experience issues with filters.

According to https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-report-server-september-2019-feature-summary/#slic... we supposed to get performance improvements, but instead it's a performance issue for the filters. What we actually have is:

1) You open a report (it load a bit faster)

2) You click on filter -> it's empty

3) You click on filter again -> it's empty, you wait for few seconds

4) You click in filter -> woohoo, data appears.

Then you repeat the same operation for all of the filters in the report.

It is not impacting much when you have 3-4 values in filter, but when cardinality is few hundred thousands, filter load takes up to 30 seconds.

It's not acceptable performance improvement, but looks like in latest version on Power Bi Desktop it's fixed.

When can it be fixed in Reporting Service?
