Preview Refresh Error - E_UNEXPECTED(0x8000FFFF)

Adding to general issues with refresh - things that refreshed fine minutes ago, fail to refresh again.  If I walk away from this for a while, it will refresh without issue.  Or it won't.  Or it will.  With no changes to the data source, it will refresh sometimes and sometimes it won't.  Often with the very helpful error message of: "No error message available, result code: E_UNEXPECTED(0x8000FFFF)."
