PowerBI don't stop loading from GCP BigQuery

PBI tries to load more data that required from BigQuery, sometimes 5x more than it should be loading and stays on the last row forever. It happens randomly. Initially , it loads the data without any trouble but this trouble happens after editing the source in power query. Same thing works fine in Tableau on my computer and PowerBI on another computer.

Unfortunately, I can’t reproduce the same issue as yours.

If you want to get a solution for this kind of randomly happening problem as soon as possible, I suggest you to open a support ticket to get direct help from the technical support team of Microsoft.

Hi,

Power BI is not folding your query to Bigquery.

If you get through BQ history, you'll see that the whole table is retreived to Power BI, then Power BI filters the rows..
