PowerBI desktop: List/dropdown chevron in default slicer always visible upon page load

In PowerBI desktop (not in service), the dropdown/list chevron in slicers should only be visible when you hover over them. However, when you create a slicer, then move to another page and come back, the down chevron will be visible. Once you hover over the slicer and then move your mouse pointer away, the chevron disappears. This is annoying because the appearance of the slicer makes it so your slicer header gets abbreviated with a ..., but one you have hovered over the slicer, you notice that your text fits just fine.

Do you mean this button? 

If it is, you can turn off the slicer header.
