PowerBI Online & PowerBI Embedded

Hi,

 

This morning we have experienced issues with reports in the online service and embedded, the data is not returning the correct results from the DB (directquery), e.g. if i open the report in the desktop client, i see the correct data, when I run the embedded or online version it returns no data or very little data.

Which data source did you get data from? There is a known issue with SAP HANA DirectQuery mode, see: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

Hi Qiuyun Yu,

 

We are using Azure SQL as our data source as we are using the (now deprecated) original PowerBI Embedded product.

I have the same issue with the latest update.

 

Data is correctly retrieved when I am using older PowerBI Desktop.

But I have incorrect result using the latest update of the PowerBI Desktop.

 

The Embedded and Online version also showing incorrect data (incomplete records) with the latest update.

 

Note: I suspect the DATE filter has some problem. 

 

Please help us fix this ASAP, as it is very annoying for all our SaaS clients

We have been complained by clients because of this UNRELIABLE business intelligence data. 

@v-qiuyu-msft can anyone looked at this issue please.
