Power Point, Power BI Add-In

Hi All,

Once the the power bi link is inserted in the power point PBI add-in interface, is there a way to disable refresh feature to prevent the info from changing during a presentation or when the powerpoint app is closed then reopend?

Thanks

J

Hi @schell10,

According to the design of Power BI Add-in for PowerPoint, data added into PowerPoint by it remains in Power BI and no data is actually exported from Power BI. Therefore, every time you open the PowerPoint, it will actively fetched data from Power BI service to make sure the data shown on PowerPoint will always be up to date. If you don’t want your Add-in data change, you need make the data on original report page still as well.

In addition, any need on some features that are not supported by Power BI currently, you could submit them in Power BI Ideas. It’s a place where the product group collects the needs and suggestions from users to improve the product. About Power BI in PowerPoint - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
