When i switch between external monitor to laptop screen and vice versa - it gives issues in Power BI Desktop.
If some report is modified and monitor is switched - it give more problems.
Power BI Desktop windows become blank. I need to close the Power BI Desktop.

I have seen this issues many times.

Status: Investigating

Hi @deepakyadav ,

I think this issue may be caused if you previously opened the file when the laptop was not connected to the external monitor. It then 'remembers' what monitor it was last opened on. As pointed out above, try the following solution which is to resize it in the external monitor and then fit to page. Then close it down and come out of Power Bi and restart your laptop. It should then open in the second monitor (or you can drag it on to your second monitor and it should display correctly).

Hi @v-mengzhu-msft

I am using "Power BI Desktop" inside Remote Desktop Connection. So, this may be the causing the issue.

I keep switching between the external monitor or disconnect the external monitor (use laptop screen).

I use extended monitor in "Second Screen only" mode.

Please check this scenario.

This issue is not happenig after Remote Desktop issues (frequent hang and then need to reboot) is solved.
This issue can be closed.
