Power BI is taking too long to load

Power BI report is taking too long to load. I am using execute stored procedure statement to load the data into power BI using import mode. But its taking too long (approx. 35 to 45 mins) to load the report.

The report is pointing to azure database.

The stored procedure is taking approx. 5 mins if I run it on SQL server management studio.

Please help me with this issue.

Hi @Anonymous,

1. Please run and refresh the same report in Power BI desktop to see how long updated data is coming. 

2. Is this same report loaded slowly before? Is there any change you made to the report recently?
