Power BI Report Server Role Additions or My Reports not showing up

Hi,

We followed the process of creating role definitions for Power BI. After restarting the servers, it does not show up on Power BI Report Server.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/security/role-definitions-create-delete-or-m...

We also tried enabling My Reports as described below:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-server/enable-and-disable-my-reports

but it does not show up on Power BI Report Server.

However, they do show up if we open the SSRS server. Are missing any steps on Power BI side?

Thanks,
Sunil

Hi @sunilravinder,

Which Power BI report server version did you run?

Based on my test with Power BI report server version 14.0.600.398, select the Enable a My Reports folder for each user option in SSMS, the My Reports Folder will be created under web portal. The new role CustomRole created in SSMS display in web portal as well. In your scenario, please try to update the Power BI report server to the same version as ours from here
