Power BI Report Server Matrix Visual: Format Row Header when Values are as Rows issue

Cannot format row headers when values are as row in Matrix visual on Power BI report server

Hi @maddy, 

Which "values" did you mean? The measure can't be dragged to Rows bucket of the matrix visual. 

As we can't edit the report in Power BI report server web portal directly, to format row headers of the matrix, we need to open the report in Power BI desktop optimized for report server to modify settings.

Thank you for replying to my post.

Yes i can format all row headers as you have mentioned above.

Problem is when values -> show on rows is on I cannot conditional format row header colors. Even though Apply to header is turned on it does not make any effect

It should be the same issue as this thread: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Matrix-Header-Shading/idi-p/728981. Currently there is no ETA.

Yes. Hope you will give the solution soon. We expect this funtionaly as a basic formatting option in Power BI
