Power BI Online Interface Feature Missing(Possible Bug-Urgent)

Hello Team,

This morning on Mar 8th 2023, I have noticed that Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Power BI Online Interface where there was a change in how the left panel icons look like. Then there was a very important feature that is missing now, which is the three lines on the left side of the page that allows the page to move to the right side to allow us to expand the workspace and then be able to view mulitple report templates and also allows us to copy and paste content of reports between different templates in the same workspace. See Screenshot below:-

Please bring back this feature as it allows us content creators to copy and paste content across different report templates in the same workspace and save us tons of time.

Let me know if I need to create a support ticket with Microsoft if you think this is a legit bug as we really need urgency in getting this fixed in the next update as we all use this feature a lot. I am a Pro user and I have more than 200 Pro users in my organization as we are a Microsoft shop.

Thanks

Mohanad

Hi @Mohanad-Mustafa ,

I reproduced your problem in https://msit.powerbi.com/  and this feature still exists in https://app.powerbi.com/ .
This is a design of the new UI and not a bug.

If you would like to suggest  feature improvements, you may  vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

@Mohanad-Mustafa  I never even knew this existed so thanks for calling it out. Seems like a very useful feature if able to be brought back.

Thanks @v-xiaoyan-msft but I don't see this feature on my interface(https://app.powerbi.com), I have raised a ticket with Microsoft and I have a meeting today with a support engineer to show him the issue on my end. I have already tried to clear the browser cache, I have tried multiple browsers and I also tried to sign out and then back in and no luck.

I did have this feature before March 8th 2023. I always had it and it was always working fine, I believe this feature shouldn't be removed.
