Power BI Desktop crashes

I have windows 10 home 1903 OS Build 18362.449 and Power BI Desktop and the Power BI desktop won't now open. I've reinstalled it and it's clearly the windows update that's broken it as it's done the same thing on my Surface Pro 4 tablet. Worked fine until this update and has stopped. To be clear...the service works fine but the Desktop now won't even open. I have a paid Pro subscription which I now can't use. Any thoughts about what I can do as this is now stopping me working.

Have you updated your power bi desktop to the latest version?
