Power BI Desktop - Object reference not set to an instance of an object

"Column name mismatch between schema table and data table"

I am not sure if i am the only one who is getting this issue!

Every time i refresh any report or create a new report i get this issue.

it is not unique to my PC. other PCs i have tried are getting this issue.

we are trying to retrieve data from MSCRM using API version 9.2

these reports have worked for Years.

any new report i get has the same issue regardless of the table i try to retrieve from CRM

Please help!

Hi @MartinReidy,

May I know whether you will get the same issue when you refresh with older version of Power BI Desktop? Previous monthly updates to Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Docs.

If you click on Copy details to clipboard, will you see any useful info in the popped dialog?

Did you enable Power BI infrastructure update option in the Preview feature of your Options dialog? If disable it, will issue still exist?

Issue is resolved by unticking the options Shape map visuals and New format pane.
