Power BI Deskop Error on Get Data from Web On Some Sites

Power BI Desktop seems to give an error on some websites when trying to get data from web

The most consistant websie is this site or any sub pages.

Error is Stack overflow at line 6.

It does not always happen but happens frequently.

I got information that this error is originating from the web page itself, not from Power BI desktop. Please try to reach the web site owner for help.

Could you provide more dettails on how "Error is Stack overflow at line 6." is an issue with the website? In conversatoions with the sites people they say they have tested with all major browsers, some minor ones on desktop and mobile platforms.  What is Power BI doing that is getting the error from the site?

Hi @asjones,

All you have to do is open the page in IE, press F12, and click Console. This will allow you to see any javascript or html formatting errors. And there are quite a few on these pages.

• '$LR' is undefined
• 'LoginRadiusRaaS' is undefined
• Stack overflow at line: 6
• and many more
