Power BI Dataset refresh Error : Request is invalid and cannot be executed.

Observed following Error while Power BI Dataset refresh :

Request is invalid and cannot be executed.

The above Error observed on May 4 2022.

The next Refresh attempt was successful.

We use Import Query from Kusto Datasource.

Can you refresh your dataset successfully now ? If yes , that preceded it was an occasional problem. If the refresh does not succeed, please provide detailed error information .

Yes the dataset refresh was successful in next refresh cycle and we did not observe this type of error again. There is no documentation on this type of Error hence connecting with Support Team to understand why this Error was observed . 

Every refresh error will impact the customers not being able to view updated reports and hence we are analyzing on this error and what are actions needed to be taken in future to prevent this Error.

This seems to be a sporadic issue at the moment , and I've searched the forums and haven't found a similar error .

My suggestion is when you encounter the same problem the next time , you can open a Support Ticket to trace the log to find the reason .
