Status: Accepted

If dataflows are in Premium workspaces, similar issue had been submited(ICM: 291701177)

The cause of this issue is a known workload distribution issue in the backend of premium dataflows.

The current advice is to change the workspace to PRO and back to Premium when you are using GEN2 premium.

If the problem keeps occurring, we suggest following best practices on the Microsoft docs site to reduce the occurrence of the issue. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/dataflows/best-practices-developing-complex-dataflows

If there is any ETA for the full fix, would update here as soon as possible.

Whether there is any error message about this dataflow when it refreshed failed, did it relate to credentials, data size or refresh timeout.

You can consider sharing more details about this issue like data source type, workspace type, the size of the data source etc.

I began having Dataflow timeout issues over the weekend. Only seemed to happen on Dataflows that were accessing large views on Azure SQL Server. Converting the views to tables has allowed the dataflows to continue to refresh, but this was not an issue before 02/26/2022 and there were no changes on the views.
