Power BI API - Admin - Datasets GetDatasourcesAsAdmin

Hi,

According to the documentation calling this API on a dataset that has a datasource that doesn't have a gateway bound to it should result in the gatewayid being blank.  However I am finding that an ID is always populated even if a gateway isn't being used?

Hi @theBIbutler 

Generally speaking, if you do not bind the gateway to the dataset, you will not have a record of the gateway when you check the information of the dataset.

Yes, that is what I would expect, however every dataset/datasource in our tenant is returning a gatewayid regardless of whether they are actually using a gateway or not....
