Powe BI Oracle connection error after update Version: 2.70.5494.761 64-bit (June, 2019)

Hi,

 

After update to the latest version of PBI Desktop Version: 2.70.5494.761 64-bit (June, 2019), refreshing a datasource from Oracle is giving error . Please refer to the photo below:-

Will there be a fix for this soon ?

Do you install the Power BI desktop from Store or Download site? 

Please refer to this document to troubleshoot the issue: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-connect-oracle-database#troubleshooting

Thanks to share the troubleshooting. I copied the file to the bin and it works.

Hi Yu Qiuyun,

 

Followed the steps to copy the oraons.dll to bin folder works.  

It would be more eye catching for the troubleshooting document if the version is mentioned when the problem started.
