Parameterized Connections in Service

It appears if you add parameters to a SQL connection string in the Desktop, the service sees this as an unsupported data source.

I have a table that lists servers. For each of these servers a function is called that runs a script to return some basic meta data.

All my tables are set to import mode.

Everything works fine in Desktop. Its only when publishing to the service it breaks
