PPT containing power BI report link is not working

I wanted to share the report url to users in PPT.

I copied the report URL and pasted in PPT. However, when users clicks on the url, it is being redirected to a page asking for user credentials. Once the user provides his credentials, instead of opening the intended report, its being redicted to users HOME  page.

I used the embed link and it works now for me

File > Embed report >Website or portal > 

1st link titled :- "Here's a link you can use to embed this content."

Then use this link and should be fine
