Hi All,

According to my research, a similar issue has been reported internally, so stay tuned. ICM: 279388210

In the latest update of this ICM, the engineers have found the issue is related to the WebView2 browser crashing and are working to find the root cause of this issue.

I will update here once I get any information.

Thank you very much!

Best Regards,

Same issue, only on a Virtual Machine install.

Hi community
To resolve this in a temporal solution, I uninstall the last version of power bi, and install the version of 24 August 2021, 2.96.901.0, and works perfectly!!!

Hi All,

Have you tried to download the Power BI Desktop from the Microsoft Store to check if it can be correctly opened?

vrobertqmsft_0-1640225849212.png

You need to at least have a Pro license of Power BI if you want to open a support ticket.

Thank you very much!

Hi @v-robertq-msft

The version that I installed first was from the store, this version sent me the error message, then uninstalled this version, then I download from the Power bi page the last version and try x64 and x86, both send the same error...
I am right now working with the august version without problems

Thank you very much!!!

@v-robertq-msft

Has this been resolved yet? I'd love to be able to work in the most current version of the program instead of the older one which is giving me some difficulty with credentials.

I tried again with the latest version, same issue on the virtual machine. Seems to be working OK on my personal laptop.
