Hi All,

According to my research, a similar issue has been reported internally, so stay tuned. ICM: 279388210

In the latest update of this ICM, the engineers have found the issue is related to the WebView2 browser crashing and are working to find the root cause of this issue.

I will update here once I get any information.

Thank you very much!

Best Regards,

Same issue

Update...I removed PowerBI desktop and reinstalled using the new version which did not work either.

Same issue as well.  @JeffPort - I did the same and still errored.  Luckily I found the October release in my downloads and that version is working.

Same @gpielow - Uninstalled the program then downloaded the November version which seems to be working. Following this thread still for a fix from Microsoft.

Link to previous versions <- Previous version can be downloaded here.

Hi,

According to my test, I can normally open the latest version of the Power BI desktop:

If you want to get a solution for this kind of starting problem as soon as possible, I suggest you to open a support ticket to get direct help from the technical support team of Microsoft.
