PDF connector threw exception when trying to read from Sharepoint site

I used the Sept 2018 build with the PDF connector enabled. I added a Sharepoint folder, then just clicked on the "BINARY" link once I got the file I wanted (a PDF file) and it said it was importing the PDF:

Note in the "Imported PDF" step there are no dots between the tenant.sharepoint.com site. I put them in using the Advanced Editor thinking that might be the issue, but then it failed to find the file at all.

I submitted the crash logs using the PBI desktop (Store version) crash reporting tool.

I downloaded the PDF file to my OneDrive for Business account and connected to it using the PDF connector (beta) to a file on my HD and that worked fine, so this seems to be an issue of connecting to a PDF in Sharepoint vs a local file on my hard drive.
