PBI - Desktop Sync Slicer with live connection to tabular analysis service cube does not work

Hi,

 

Sync slicer seems to be not working...I have Feb 2018 update of PBI Desktop,

 

  1. I have live connection to analysis services cube on local workspace.
  2. There are two pages on the report, first page with slicers, one date based, and another one text based
  3. Second page have a table report that shows the field of slicers as well as some other fields
  4. On text based slicer I have enabled "Search" option, so that user can search the values to select.
  5. When I search a value and then filter for it, second page shows corret values, but for any subsequent searches it does not update second page.

 

I have not tested this on PBI service.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

I'm not able to reproduce the issue in Power BI desktop version 2.56.5023.861 64-bit (March 2018), please update the desktop to the same version as ours then test again.
