On Premise Gateway Service - Not starting automatically after server reboot

Hi Team,

 

I am using latest version of On-Premise Gateway. On Premise Gateway Service is not starting automatically after server reboot even though we set Start Up type as Automatic. 

Anyone faced this issue before ?

Hi @Vishnu_Jalagam ,

Could not reproduce it in my side as far as my test. When I set the gateway service to automatically and restart the server, the service would start.

 

Try to restart the gateway service or refer this similar thread.

I have this issue as well and need some help to solve it.

 

After a fresh system reboot, the On-Prem Gateway Service is not starting and our PowerBI refreshes will fail continuously until I login to the workstation where the gateway is installed.

 

Oddly if I then log out of that computer entirely (not just lock my screen but fully sign-out), the Gateway Service will continue running and my PowerBI refreshes continue working just fine.
