Not able to publish on existing workspaces in Preview Mode

Hello,

We have some 5-6 work-spaces which were created in New Workpsace mode.

We have noticed that we are not able to publish any report to these workspaces anymore. Everything was fine till this morning. It throws following error:

We are able to publish on old workspace version but not on the new ones. Kindly resolve this issue.

Note: We are facing this issue in India. This might be working in USA. So please check for clusters deployed in ASIA.

Hi @prateekraina

I tested with Power BI service located in Southeast Asia (Singapore), it's able to publish the report from Power BI desktop to the preview app workspace.

In your scenario, please open Power BI service, sign in the same account which you used in Power BI desktop, go to the preview app workspace, click on Get Data -> Files to publish report, check if the same issue occurs.

I am also facing this issue today. Users are not able to publish to existing workspaces. They were created with new Workspace option. Users are members of the workspace.

Hi @mittalpatel130

Please ensure the account signed in Power BI desktop has the edit permission in the app workspace.

Also please update the Power BI desktop to the latest version 2.68.5432.761 then test again.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
