Not able to open a PBIX using On Premise versio Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I used Power BI Desktop services to create a bunch of PBIX reports, now my organization has decided to go on premise instead of online.  When I opening some files created on the desktop online version using the desktop on premise version so they can be saved in a different format, some of the files I can open but others I can't. 

These reports were very time consuming to be created.  How can I open them on Desktop on premise so they can be saved on our local server instead to online?

Always use the latest version of Power BI Desktop when you open downloaded files. Downloaded .pbix files might not open in non-current versions of Power BI Desktop. You may also create a support ticket for assistance if necessary.

I am using the most current version already.
