Not able to apply changes to scheduled data refresh

I have a report with some gsheet (export to csv trick) data sets. When I enable checkbox allow cloud data sources on the gateway, it get's green and I can turn "use data gateway" on, but no luck when clicking on "Apply" so far, it keeps telling me "something went wrong"... All other data sources / reports / dashbords are working smoothly with the very same gateway.

This doesn't make it even a bit clear, but maybe, someone can go and check it.

@Anonymous,

It seems that you combine online data source and on-premises data source in a single dataset, right?

If so,  make sure that you enter the same connection strings of on-premises data source in Power BI Desktop and Power BI gateway. In Power BI Desktop, please go to File -> Options and settings ->Data source settings to check all the data sources of the dataset, you can post screenshot about data sources in Power BI Desktop and gateway here.

Regards,
Lydia

Yes,

there are three web data sources and one on-prem (import) data source. Everything is the same in the gateway and the pbix file.

pbix:

ssas: ssashostname; ssasmodelname

@Anonymous,

You don't need to add web data sources within gateway after you select "allow cloud data sources on the gateway " option. Also please check if you can use dame hostname and database name in Power BI Desktop and Power BI gateway for SSAS data source.

Lydia
