There is no way to expand the width of columns or enlarge the dialog window:

For the extended functionality you mentioned, it is true that it is not implemented yet.If you want to see the full name of the report name, hover your mouse over the name to reveal it.
Also,you can vote the idea and comment  to improve this feature Ideas (powerbi.com).

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
