Manual Dataset refreshes stopped reflecting on embed

Experiencing issues where manual dataset refreshes don't reflect on the reports on the embeds. 

Yesterday when I refreshed the datasets manually, it reflected immediately. Today for some reason it reflected after refreshing the reports in PowerBi Desktop and then republishing and replacing the reports.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi @yentln, 

From your description, it looks like you are using the Embed feature to embed a report in a web page, right? 

I tested on my side with the report connects to SQL database in Import mode, after the dataset is refreshed successfully, refresh the embed web page, the new data will display in the embedded report as well. 

In your scenario, which data source and connection mode do you use? Please try again on your side, after the dataset is refresh successfully, please go t Power BI service check if the report display the new data.
