Long response times for Power BI reports

We are experiencing long response times for reports hosted on power BI platform.
Paginated reports are rendered in run over 15s. The same report, when run from PowerBI Report Builder executed on PowerBIGateway machine, is rendered below 2s.
We checked network performance.Tracert times are below 50ms between Azure Power BI cloud (app.powerbi.com) and our Power BI Gateways installed on our on-premise environment.

I want to know is anyone is suddenly experiencing slowness with the new version of Power BI Desktop in Edit Queries when adding, amending and refreshing SQL import queries.

The problems may be related, but the problem above describes Power BI services and Power BI Report rendering, not Power BI Desktop in Edit Queries with SQL.

Many thanks

Power BI desktop has been having issues for us too. Can't load new data to reports from new or preexisting SQL databases.
