Line comment after direct query causes Incorrect syntax error

When I had a (direct) query ending with a line comment it causes the PowerBi to report 'Microsoft SQL: Incorect syntax near ...' error.

SELECT * FROM Customer -- comment

Changing the comment type to block stopped the error from appearing.

SELECT * FROM Customer /* comment */

I consider this behavior as a bug therefore reporting it here.
