Latest update has broken the preview display of custom icons

I had a set of custom icons in my theme file. Since the latest update the custom icons won't display in the dropdown in the conditional formatting pane. I just get the 'broken image' icon. The tooltip will still show the icon's name, and I can still choose them, and they display fine in tables as before. It's just the selection dropdown where they don't work.

Also measures with SVG definition for a custom icon used in the conditional formatting were broken due to the latest update. 

e.g. below measure in a table visual with conditional formatting Icon set based on field value returns a broken image:
