Issues with Fuzzy Matching

I have a problem when using the Fuzzy Matching in powerbi Dataflow. I didn't change anything about my Dataflow, but yesterday it stopped updating with problems in the Fuzzy Matching.

An error like that: We were unable to determine how many matches the selection will return.

Until yesterday it worked.

HI  @caschermann

Please make sure the columns from two tables are the same.

Add a chenge type step before fuzzy match

Note: The ABC123 means that it is an "any" data type, not text or number type.

for example:

2.JPG3.JPG4.JPG

Hi @v-lili6-msft Yes, both columns have the same text type. On powerbi desktop it works, but on powerbi dataflow it doesn't work. It's strange because until October 29th it worked and I haven't changed anything in my data model. Is it possible that my organization has configured something to not enable fuzzyjoin? Thanks

hi  @caschermann

Maybe something wrong in your datasource, try to filter the two tables with little dataset and try it again.

and also check the below link.
