Issues fixing Data Binding when source data has changes on the column, table name or database name

I have created numerous reports and visulaiztions based on 50 MS sql databases and tables . One of the column names and/or Database location has changed, and I am unable to fix the binding in PowerBi, without completely removing the tables and starting over with all the steps performed on the table. Does anyone know how to update bindings when the source data name changes?

Hi @KINGMEMORY

You can open the report in Power BI desktop, go to Query Editor, select each table query, click on Advanced Editor, find the Power Query. You need to modify changed column/database name in Power Query.

After modifying Power Query, apply the change, ensure the report can be refreshed successfully in Power BI desktop, then republish the report to Power BI service.
