Issue with dataflow visibility from Sharepoint files

I have a dataflow with a number of entities pointing to different sharepoint folders (and the excel files within them).

The dataflow refreshes successfully however the data won't refresh in the dataset- resulting in this error:
- The key didn't match any rows in the table.

The entities load fine in the power query editor, and it seems to be luck of the draw as to when the refresh will be successful AND the data will be visible in desktop.

Also, I'm the admin of the workspace and can access these through desktop. My colleagues with equivalent access (admin) can see the workspace and dataflow in Power BI Service however can't see the workspace, dataflow or entities in Desktop

This error might be in cases where if any one of the table in pbix returns zero rows of data that can break other dependent queries leading to this error message.
