Issue with Power BI Premium Access on Mobile - New Workspace Experience - Viewer permission

I created a new workspace experience (v2) on Power BI in order to use the Viewer role to distribute content to free users on Power BI Premium.  On the service, the access is working properly and the users can see the workspace + content.

 

However, on Power BI Mobile, no workspaces show up for free users I have granted access to with Viewer permissions, so they cannot digest content on mobile in the same manner as the Power BI Service.

 

Based on documentation of the Viewer role and new workspaces (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-the-new-viewer-role-for-power-bi-workspaces/ , https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-create-the-new-workspaces), this seems to be a disconnect from the service experience and mobile. 

 

Users should be able to see the workspace and navigate to it in the same manner on mobile as they can on desktop.  Note that if the user has a Pro license, the workspaces do show up and the navigation works in the same manner as on the service, but I am trying to distribute content on Premium via channels discussed on blog posts, etc.

Note that I did try to use access via "Shared with me" on mobile as a temporary patch to this issue, but favorites do not work properly.  I had a few users test out trying to favorite reports in the "Shared with me" view and the item vanishes when you open up favorites.
