Issue with HANA Studio and Power BI Service

Hi,

I have created a Calculation View in HANA Studio and I have built a Power BI report on top of that. When previewing the data in the View and in Power BI desktop everything works and looks good. However, in the Power BI Service 1 fields gives me errors and doesn't allow me to see the visual. This is the error message:

It is the ERUHR field from VEKP which I have created a Calculated Column for with nothing more than Datatype TIME and expression "ERUHR". So, I have not changed anything except the data type. Is there a solution for this problem as I don't seem to find any?

Status: Needs Info

Hi @MaartenZ

What is the type pf the field ? If you delete the calculated column and then republish the report to Service , can you see the visual successfully ? Can you provide the formula for me ?

Hi @v-yetao1-msft,

If I remove the calculated column I will indeed see the visual succesfully, so I know for sure it is the ERUHR field that is causing issues. This is the formule if you can even call it a formula. Normally the ERUHR is a VARCHAR I think, so it will show the data as 085706 for example instead of 08:57:06 which is easier to read.

This is the error as in Power BI Service:

And in the Desktop it looks like this:
