I need help with the Scheduled Refresh feature of PowerBI Service; I have been using it for years, but suddenly last week, the option was disabled, and I cannot schedule refreshes for my reports.
Any help in this matter will be highly appreciated.

Please open "dataset settings" to check if there is something wrong in your data source.
Make sure there are no configuration errors with these three settings.

I saw this as well. I got it to enable if I expanded then collapsed the "Data source credentials" area.
I tried, too but to no avail; Manually refreshing the data after few hours is such a pain.
Nothing wrong there, and I can successfully fresh them manually on PowerBI service; it is just a scheduled refresh that is disabled. Please refer to the below Screengrab.
So your problem is that the switch for scheduled refresh has been turned off? And cannot be turned on again for configuration? Can you show a screenshot of the configuration screen for this scheduled refresh?
We are encountering the same issue.
In our case, opening and closing the "Gateway Connection" setting makes the "Scheduled Refresh" setting avaialable again.
