I can't install/update PowerBI on Windows 10- Store disabled by my administrator

I have been given a new windows 10 laptop by my company which has the Windows store disabled.

When I try to install PowerBI it tries to go to the store, which I can't access as my admin has disabled it.

I tried downloading the installer to a Windows 7 machine and using it on the Windows 10 machine but nothing happens when I run the installer, there is nothing running in task manager after I run it.

My IT department have installed an old version of PowerBI but I would like to have the most up to date version.

How can I install PowerBI on windows 10 with the windows store disabled?

Are you an administrator of the Windows 10 machine? If it is, you can download Power BI installer package from Download site then install it on your machine. For more information, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-get-the-desktop#download-power-bi-desktop
