Hidden visual level filters are shown anyway in Service. In Power Desktop they are not visible in the filter pane, but in the Power BI Service they are shown. So it is a difference between both tools.
Pleas fix this!

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

This issue has been reported internally. CRI: 114642255. Please be patient for the fix.

 

As a workaround, you can check "require single selection" on the cards you are trying to hide before saving.

Based on my test, this issue has been resolved with the latest desktop release: 2.68.5432.841 64-bit (April 2019)
