Google Big Query to Power BI

Hi all, 

I keep on getting this error message when I try to connect Power BI to Google Big Query

Details: "ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (100) Error interacting with REST API: Couldn't connect to server
ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (100) Error interacting with REST API: Couldn't connect to server"

Wondering if anyone has gotten the same problem and what the soloution may be.

Hi @Jonathan1,

Please try to ping the BigQuery database and check if it is working (“ ping googleapis.com ” ).

Also please contact your IT to make the connection to google api.com from their corporate network. Do you use a proxy server? Is it configured in your browser?
