Hi,

According to my query result from the internal tool based on your error message, the error seems to be related to the authentication you used to log in the Power BI service can’t meet the external security challenge to finish the operation. This is the detailed error:

External security challenge not satisfied. Users will be redirected to another page or authentication provider to satisfy additional authentication challenges.

Thank you very much!

Hello!

Thanks for the response, However we are unable to have the workspace name updated even with tenant administrator permissions. Can you please guide further on the issue?

Thanks!

Hi,

In my opinion, if you want to get a solution for this kind of workspace problem based on your specific tenant as soon as possible, I suggest you to open a support ticket to get direct help from the technical support team of Microsoft to have a remote session with you to help them to make sure if there is a solution to this problem in the Power BI.

I'm having the same issue. From my observations, it appears to have to do with the fact that these are dataflow workspaces attached to our Azure Gen 2 Storage.

I change the name of the workspace and hit Save and it sits for quite a while and then finally gives this error.

I have renamed "dataflow only" workspaces that were not in our Azure Data Lake Gen2 storage account, but once they are connected to Azure, I receive this error.

@AbhiSSRS and @cmuser are your workspaces with this issue connected to your Azure Data Lake Gen2 storage account?
