Get Data > Search sources > Tab to single result, cannot select with keyboard (opens Excel source)

When using Get Data, search for a source type, see only  the one result in the list, press Tab to reach the source type, press enter. 

Example: Search Get Data for "databricks" or "hana" - both these searches yield 1 result. Press tab to move to the source type and press enter. It will open Get Data from Excel every time.

I tested the scenario you said, the connection box displayed is not correct. I've escalated the issue to ICM, the ID is 298204233, and I'll be back with an update if there's any news.
