Gauge dynamic title issue

Hi,
I have dynamic titles on Gauge visual using first value from a column for a certain selection (there are some additional filters on that visual) . When selection on slicers does not fall within filters on visuals, title (and whole gauge) should disappear.

It used to work until 2 weeks ago. Now, in PowerBi online services, instead of empty space it says "Gauge". It ruins the page as I’m using also some colorcoding rules to hide gauges without any data (entire page is just gauges).

I'm still a little confused about the dynamic title you mentioned. Can you provide your pbix file and what it looks like (Desktop and Service)?

Hi Alisa,
unfortunately dashboard contains restricted data so here is simple example (not sure how to attach the file itself).

Let's say we have this table

Column 2 is our values for Gauge and Column 1 is used as a title.

There are also filters applied to this visual and a slicer using Column 1

When nothing is selected on our slicer title correctly says C.

When A is selected on slicer, title is as expected empty (Powerbi desktop)...

  

...but in Powerbi online it says Gauge.

You mentioned that "There are also filters applied to this visual" , which visual are the filters applied to? Can you show me a screenshot of the visual settings for Gauge ?

Sure,
filters are on a gauge visual and are applied using filter panel as per screen below.

I still have no way to restore your scene.  Which visual is your column on? I put it in Gauge , but I can not choose the filter type .

Please remove Column1 form value section. Only Column2 should be there.

Next, drag and drop Column1 from Fileds panel to Filters panel...

Now you should be able to filter it.

I tested in June version Desktop , the result returned is the same as on the Service.  Please refer to the pictures below . 

What is the version of Desktop that you mentioned earlier that title returns null ? Can it be shown through video or dynamic graphics ?

I can see that in newer desktop version "Gauge" name appers in both desktop and online services when there is no data selected. 
I hope this is a bug that was transferred to desktop version but if this is intentional change it's a chnage for worse and i'd need now to find a new way to hide visuals with no data because my report can't stay like that 😕

Could you please confirm that this is not a bug?
