Fresh data not visible in PBI Service or Excel

Hello team,

We noticed yesterday that after manual trigger of refresh of a single table within a model though Tabualr editor or SSMS, data does not surface in the model when browsed though PBI or Excel.

However, data is to be seen when browsed through Tabular Editor or DAX Studio.

In two ocasions, data eventualy surfaced, not sure if it just needed time or there was something else involved. We had both cases there table is excluded from scheduled refresh and other one where it was.

We have been doing refrehses of single tables forever and never experieced behaviour like this.

Do you have any isight into this?

Hi @stefanSrecko ,

"Update: Seems that the trick is to do a full model refresh afterdrds, however this behaviour is not expected"

If I understand you correctly, this behavior is actually expected, and you can refer to this document below, which describes in detail the refreshing principle in Power BI.
