Fix the file:// URLs Feature

We are using the August 2018 On-prem server and Desktop client.

 

It appears that the features described in the official blog either no longer work or at the very least do not work in the August 2018 release.

 

When the report developer creates a URL link the link turns blue and can be configured to be visible in a icon in the table.  However, in Edge and Chrome the link fails to take any action when clicked.

 

This is fairly easy to reproduce and been reported by a number of other user/developers in the community.

Do you mean the Power BI report server and Power BI desktop for report server?
