Filtered export not working for pdf or Power Point

Hi Team

Our shared workspace or PBI APP has the issue of exporting the report to pdf or PowerPoint with only default data, the filter somehow not working. It starts to be like this since 4 days ago. Is it a service bug?

Many Thanks

It happens to me also, last time the filter is working, but now is not working. But if I deleted 1 page from my report it's working.

@Anonymous ,

Please login admin account. In admin portal-> Tenant settings, check if  "Export reports as PowerPoint presentations or PDF documents" has been enabled.

@v-yuta-msft I can export but when I choose current value, the filter is not saved and in ppt there's no filter selected. Last time it's working but now it's not working. Is it because I'm using waffle chart and Image (from URL)? Since I'm deleting this 2 visualization and the filter's on ppt works.

Same problem here. Generation of the incorrectly unfiltered reports also takes far longer than it should.

@Anonymous ,

I could not reproduce this issue. The selected value exists in the slicer of the downloaded ppt on my side. If this issue persists, I would suggest you create a support ticket here.

Same problem here on all the apps I developed. Reports take very long to generate, some charts are empty and all the slicer selections are lost. I tested it myself as the owner of the app and checked with one of the users - the same problem happens.

I have the same issue with one customer and the same issue has been brought up already earlier with another customer. With Power BI Desktop newest version, everything works fine but not anymore after published to service.

I see the same issue for filters set within the report or when there is a query parameter assigned filter. The Export to PDF or Powerpoint does not consider the current values even when that choice is checked in the export dialog box.

Good day, gurus.

I am in a bit of a pickle. I have a published report in Apps where I am trouble exporting the reports when filtered.

Report is designed where I have a Landing Page where I have all the report slicers that the user can choose from.

The filter works well across all the remaining report pages. However, when I export to PDF or PowerPoint, the output in the file is different from what the report is showing

Any thoughts on how to address this?

Appreciate your help.
